Personal Statement *
A brief (must not exceed 750 words) personal statement that focuses on: (i) What you expect to achieve by participating in the GOAL program both personally and professionally; and (ii) elements of your personal experience and background not reflected in your transcript that tend to show that the GOAL program would be a good match for you, as well as other information about how the GOAL program will serve your personal and career ambitions. The statement can be informal. We seek this information to facilitate externship placements. Must be in PDF format. Files must be less than 4 MB. Allowed file types: pdf.

By checking this field, I hereby authorize the Executive Director of the GOAL program to release my academic information, including academic background, academic grade point average and class rank, resume information, writing samples, and current contact information, in both digital form and hard copy, to prospective externship host organizations in Washington, D.C. I agree to provide all such information to the Executive Director promptly upon request. I hereby certify that the information I provide is accurate and truthful in every respect. I understand that if any of the information provided is not true and accurate, I will be subject to discipline for serious academic misconduct pursuant to Creighton University School of Law Academic Rule 9.3. I agree that this Consent shall not be revoked except in writing delivered to the Executive Director. This Consent authorization shall be effective during my entire tenure in law school, unless revoked.
