The Student Emergency Fund assists Creighton students by providing limited emergency financial assistance to currently enrolled students who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses due to an emergency. The Office of Student and Family Support coordinates the Student Emergency Fund, monies which are accessible for all enrolled Creighton students.
Examples of unexpected emergencies include but are not limited to:
- Housing insecurity
- Food insecurity
- Transportation insecurity
- Emergency travel home
- Property damage
- Moving expenses due to unforeseen circumstances
- Other instances/reasons are reviewed
