Creighton University Humanities & Health Justice Pathway

This program prepares first-generation college students for a future of advancing justice and equity in health and healthcare. Students will explore how perspectives from the humanities (areas focusing on the human experience, such as history, philosophy, theology, literature and art) expand our ideas about health beyond biomedical concepts.

A spring course called "Reimagining Care" will be the first step in the program for most students. Later activities will focus on building community, forming relationships with faculty members, and clinical and/or research experiences.

This program is a partnership with Arizona State University and is funded in part by a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
